I grew up watching Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris, running around the house wanting to be a ninja. So I did Karate, Arnis, then Muay Thai. I had some amateur kick boxing fights, mostly just to test myself. Then i found BJJ and I never looked back.
A Jiu Jitsu journeyman, I never won any major titles or awards, but I’ve stayed committed to the art because I believe in what it does for people.
What I love most about Jiu Jitsu is the way it transforms lives. It builds physical and mental strength, resilience, discipline and confidence. It is one of the best self-development tools I’ve come across.
Beyond that, it is simply great fun. I’ve made lifelong friends through training, and I want others to experience the same.
Promoted to black belt in 2024 under Rex Carney at Terra Luta Gympie. I have one simple goal: deliver high level Jiu Jitsu to the Miles community.
